It’s Halloween weekend and Chris Brown plans on releasing his 45-track project, Heartbreak on a Full Moon on October 31, so it’s fitting that his single “High End” featuring Future and Young Thug made its debut on the R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales charts ending on October 23.
Also making a mark on the chart this week is Grammy Award-nominated songstress Andra Day, who broke into the Top 10 at #9 with her single “Rise Up.” And Khalid jumped up three spots to #4 with “Young Dumb & Broke.”
Unsurprisingly, Post Malone remains at #1 with the 21 Savage-assisted “Rockstar,” while Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” holds it down at #2 and Logic clings tight to #3 with “1-800-273-8255.”
Chris Brown, Future & Young Thug Turn “High End” Into A Hit
Chris Brown’s Heartbreak on a Full Moonsingle “High End” featuring Future and Young Thug earned the highest debut for this week’s R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales charts at #13.
The music video for Breezy’s new single looks like what a Halloween night with Illuminati initiates would be like. However, the beginning of the video is equipped with a warning stating that it’s actually quite the opposite of what it appears to be and assures the video has nothing to do with the occult. It created a buzz on social media, so naturally, it reeled in folks to see what the fuss was about.
Apparently, people really like “High End” because it racked up 8,468 in pure digital downloads, according to Neilson SoundScan.
